To Ensure the Accountability of Our Procedures
• All clerics, employees and volunteers adhere to the MANDATORY REPORTING laws of the State of Arizona.
•All procedures adhere to the Canon Codes of justice and prudence for both reporting and accused persons.
• All contacts with victims, their family members and therapists are documented according to the date and time of the interaction.
• All reports made to the Office of Child & Youth Protection are documented and maintained by the Office of Child and Youth Protection and referred to the Review Board.
• All reports of sexual misconduct will be classified as Open (receiving services) Pending (explain situation) or Closed (Services completed, Services not requested).
• The Review Board meets quarterly to evaluate cases and make recommendations to the Bishop.
• If victim has an attorney-services will not be interrupted.
